We’re available (new free Zoom meeting)
A week ago I wrote a sunny blog post about how our “urban retreat” is going. It was supposed to be published today. In this sunny blog post, I cheerfully catalogued our progress in making this meditative lifestyle a reality, talked about some of the joys and challenges, and looked at possible implications for our friends and neighbors who might want to do something similar.
But then the world changed all over again.
So I’m going to put that blog post on hold. And for now I’ll just say this: we’re available.
In that vein, we’re going to start hosting a meeting—online and free of charge—on Monday evenings 6-7pm Pacific Time. (to join click here at 5:55pm on Mondays) These meetings will be little dharma fireside chats: we’ll share some of our own experiences with all that’s hitting the fan right now. We’ll also offer some of the tools we’re using to navigate this unstable and ever-shifting landscape . Finally, we’ll invite people to talk to each other.
The hope is that you’ll walk out of these meetings feeling connected—to yourself, to your purpose, to others. And maybe you’ll even find some steady in the storm (that’s what our book is about, after all.)
In addition to the new Zoom meeting, we’re still doing dharma mentoring and meditation mentoring. If you're feeling stressed out, spun out, or just generally out of sorts right now, we’re happy to talk.
In these one-to-one sessions, we can talk about how to use meditation practice in the face of the fear, anxiety, disappointment, loss, loneliness or anything else that might be coming up for you right now.
Anyway, if you want to reach us, click here.
Sending lots of love your way,
Craig (and Devon)
