In this half-day online workshop, nico + devon will guide participants in the development of a dharma-informed response to climate change, using work by Bhikkhu Anālayo, Cornell West, and the Dalai Lama as points of entry.
Through periods of meditation, mini-talks, and discussion, the group will develop the topic together, as a form of call and response, dialogue, and organic growth, culminating in an offering from Camila Thorndike*, climate policy advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders, about actions to take right now.

Camila Thorndike is a lifelong environmental and social justice campaigner from southern Oregon. Currently she serves as Legislative Assistant to Senator Bernie Sanders, Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, managing his energy and environment portfolio.
She holds a masters from the Harvard Kennedy School, where she was a Bacon Environmental Fellow, has spearheaded a number of high impact projects with organizations including Climate XChange, Chesapeake Climate Action Network, and Our Climate.
Camila has been honored as a Udall Scholar, Sitka Fellow, Mic 50, Grist 50, D.C. Environmental Network Award, and HKS Littauer Award winner.
