Who doesn’t need a little more joy in life lately? Meditation practice helps us tap into the quiet joy available in each moment of presence, which can unfold into many varieties of happiness, contentment, and gladness, right in the midst of the ten thousand sorrows so present for all of us these days. The quality of equanimity, or balance of mind, helps us stay grounded in the truth of these joys and sorrows without bypassing or ignoring the many complexities of being human.
