Metta is the Answer
Dear friends,
It doesn't really matter what the question is.
The answer is metta,
lovingkindness,
this cultivation of the boundless warmth of the heart.
Not a sticky love,
but a kind of teflon love that needs nothing
because it's full already,
full of goodness,
full of care,
self-care, caring for others,
it doesn't matter,
metta doesn't make those distinctions,
there is just this boundlessness
this big open sky
that is full of sun
and warm, warm, warm,
warming everything everywhere
everyone everywhere.
what could ever be missing in a state like this?
