During this daylong New Year’s retreat, we'll practice sitting and walking meditation in silence together. There will be guided practices, dharma talks, and time for discussion, as well as silent group lunch.
Together we’ll be exploring the immediacy of momentary experience—the way each moment is, in itself, complete, whole, and already liberated. (We’ll also talk about everything that gets in the way of this recognition.)
This retreat is open to people of all faiths, persuasions, races, ethnicities, nationalities, ages, resources, sexual orientations, gender orientations, and ranges of ability.
For questions and to register email Linda Engelberg - engel@hawaii.edu.
Please bring a bag lunch.
Retreat is offered on a dana (donation) basis.
About Craig Hase
Craig Hase has studied with some of the great meditation teachers of our time. When he’s not in months-long retreat, he teaches mindfulness widely in the United States and Europe.
“Working with Craig radically changed my perspective on myself, my life, and what well-being really means. I am forever grateful for Craig's wisdom and engaged presence and continue to look to him for inspiration and guidance along the way.”
